Before Booth, and long before Laugh-In, Gladys Ormphby and Tyrone F. Horneigh’s great-great-great grandparents were killing at Ford’s Theater.

Fortunately for the painter paparazzi, women’s dresses then made it difficult for them to get away quickly.

Four scores… and, seven years ago! Cold shoulders and cold showers – this marriage cannot long endure.

A portrait of Miss Gulch as a young woman, before cads and mashers like this turned her into a wicked witch.

Her placket’s open. Unfortunately all he can see is her corset cover. Some people are easily entertained.

A somewhat enlarged image can be found at Mr. Melcher’s blog entry.Camille Monet (1847–1879) on a Garden Bench (links show her and the painting’s Google translated Wikipedia pages) is shown, with a framed, slightly-different-coloration, click-to-enlarge image, and described, by its current-location page.Again, the strip image is actually a cropped image, removing part of the page image frame, with the coloration then artificially enhanced. I have to wonder if Mr. Melcher actually read the description (he isn’t hitting on her). The alternate page has a longer description and an unframed, smaller image.Another different coloration, enlarged image can be found here. Another (closer to this) can be found here, and another can be found here.Camille in the Garden with Jean and his Nurse (click for click-to-enlarge)

painted by the artist in the same year, may have been intended as a pendant to this painting. The artist’s Wikipedia page (Google translated French Wikipedia page has more) and collection (many more under Subcategories at each level).Second, of the 2 works, by this artist, that have, so far, appeared in Mr. Melcher’s blog, to also appear here.

He looks more like Benjamin Harrison than Lincoln. Unfortunately many people won’t know who the hell Benjamin Harrison was.
