Sometimes I think that some people get the handicap designation for bad driving or was it their excuse for bad driving was because they were handicapped?

I’m very thankful that I don’t need a handicap sign, and I hope I never will. Too many handicap haters around.

Many handicapped people didn’t start out overweight. They gained weight because they are physically limited. Be glad you don’t have that problem.

If someone with handicap plates or a placard is parked in the handicap spot, it is not for me to judge. But when I see someone without the plates or placard parked there.I have to wonder what is their handicap?

In my state I think 90% of the placards are given for mentally handicapped.

@nosirromMy guess would be that they were intellectually challenged if they thought that they could park some place they should not have.

I forget who, but some comedian once said he’d seen a car in the handicapped spot with only three wheels.

@DragonRydrLike you there are people who have legitimate health issues, however what about the scammer who pretends to have health issues. I knew one guy who was overweight, convinced a doctor that he was too heavy to work and stayed on welfare and was issued a handicap parking placard. He should have been instructed to loose the weight or get cut off. He died of heart issues at 26 and his ‘estate’ was taken over by the state claimed that he was a ward of the state. He had all the frills and whistles because the state supported his bad living habits.
