I think they both won…time to celebrate with Milky Bones!

You two could have stood in rain for a little longer… to get the mud washed off.

At least it is kitchen. Kitchens are usually made easy-to-clean. Our back door brings straight into living-room which floor would be ruined by this.

I think she wants to know what possessed you to go out in the rain when your supposed to know to come in out of the rain.

I think Catfeet is right. They both won! (I like the name, I have 4 pairs of "Kittie feet running around thru my legs right now!)

Nah, mom probably knew they were outside. It’s just that she just finished washing the kitchen floor and now has to do it all over again.

What could she be upset about the mud on the linoleum of the open door allowing the rain to come in?

At his age is there anything better than playing in the mud in a gentle, warm rain? Maybe we adults should try it. The world might turn into a better place if we did.

I don’t know who won, but I would say that the floor lost.

Everyone’s a winner with Red and Rover! Well, everyone except for maybe Mom who likely will end up with the clean-up job…

BTW, in all our homes we had ceramic tile at every entrance. When we built the last two, I suggested a drain in the center (with a garbage disposer) along with a hose rack and faucet on the wall!.Don’t understand why my wife vetoed the idea…

Wow, brings back memories when we would play mud football. We’d wear sweatshirts and stuff leaves underneath and then play in the mud. What a great time we had!
