Well, yes, those eggs most likely were thrown in an upward direction. But there are probably fewer just because the peasants can’t afford to waste as many.

I LOVE learning tidbits of useful information: I’ve got this copied and I’m memorizing it right after the coffee kicks in!

No, but is a comic strip from the USA, so it should have proper US usage.

I’m told the benefit of using Latin is that, as a dead language, it doesn’t change.

The main thing is that the king is getting more approved or less disapproved.

Hip hip hurray(Why doesn’t android know “hurray”??? What’s wrong with it or me? Other than the obvious, of course)

“…… I found no differences for the use of less versus fewer — only opinion blogs trying to make a similar case to dump fewer, because of claims that it’s not used (according to the bloggers) in casual discourse.”~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~.I will be willing to dump ‘fewer’ when is consider good form to say “Less people.” \

If the subject is leaders and variable popularity, current political examples might be appropriate unless the current situation is offensive to current supporters...Still, Rick Scott and Charlie Crist are about to go head to head soon, so the chickens in Florida need to get to work..In the case of the king of Id, methinks a shortage of eggs is likely.

Reminds me of a Green Acres episodes involving the IRS. The Commish sitting in his office identifies the splats heard outside as eggs thrown at his office. He then says when we get closer to April 15, they change to rocks.

WGN: My father used to listen to the Cubs games on WGN. I remember 2, 5, 7, 9, 11: black & white for the most part. THEN: came color TV (the neighbors had it – we didn’t)!!
