As people who have eaten in school cafeterias well know, “edible” is not at all the same thing as “tasty”……….

GoComics is being a weirdo again because I can’t copy and paste your message properly. Some of it appears twice and makes the whole thing look weird. So this is from yesterday.-Oops. That’s another one that went past me. Horse’s stool is meant to be good for growing plants but I’m pretty sure everybody in the whole world knows that.-The rainforest in the US sounds the perfect one for me.-The photo doesn’t look fuzzy to me. I can see it perfectly. That’s an ideal wedding gift.-Glad to hear that! What time did Ron ring you back?-Now that you’ve got your sunny day back. May we have our rain back please?-I bet you were all feeling a little sad when your family house sold. Memories and all that.-Yeah, Trigger has just told me about that ‘nice man’ who gave him a carrot. He is very grateful! So thank you.-Happy Finally Friday!

I wonder if Andy is comparing Flo’s cooking to his army chow. They do call it a mess hall for a reason!

@beviekI got a kick out of the school lunch parody! True story: When I was in high school I was eating one of those giant (I mean BIG!) chocolate chip cookies. I noticed one of the “chocolate chips” was actually a dead fly. So I ate around it (not too close, not too far), then went to show the cafeteria lady. She did in fact give me another one for free. Of course, this must be blamed on the cookie factory, not the cafeteria itself. But stories about the cafeteria itself would spoil everybody’s appetite……….

The food in my grade school cafeteria was vile. I usually brought a sack lunch and sometimes would sneak off to a nearby drugstore for a snack. One time I got caught and ended up being suspended for a week.

They both need a good beating!

Oh, well, Flo, I guess you’ll have to settle for lumps from the gravy… ;)
