Unworthy of Cartoon-Boy’s more usual exquisitely crafted puns, this simple wordplay should have been scrubbed.—Or, we could hit Cartoon-Boy over the head with a bat….

The loofah wasn’t being aloof. He had to go to the loo .. for a while.

This is another case of Pastis reaching way too far for an alleged play on words that doesn’t work.

Loofa…. a fool.

I honestly thought that the loofah had legs that were hidden by the wall. It could even have arms, if they were set low enough.

Thank goodness the loofah had enough sense to leave before things got out of hand. It’s not aloof, just discerning.
