Years ago, when I was fishing with my dad and I caught a fish, he would say, “Be sure to mark the spot on the side of the boat, so the next time we go out, we will be able to find this same spot.”There were a lot of spots on the side of the boat. The boat is long gone; but, I still have my dad’s 1948 Johnson Sea Horse 5 on a stand in the garage.
For the past 2 weeks this line is being used in a TV commercial for (not sure) GEICO. I thought it so clever. Had no idea it was an old one but I thought it great when said from a man to a woman.
