In the UK, a “real ale” would be served at room temperature having been pulled through from the cellar by beer engine (manual pump) or from a tapped keg..A beer (such as lager) would be chilled and come pressurised with CO2. Some stouts are pressurised using nitrogen to produce a finer bubble and smoother head. Basically fizzy is chilled whereas still varieties come as they are. That’s my experience, anyway.

I’m making no accusations here, but this is an old Jeff Foxworthy “you might be a redneck” joke.

I’m not sure about the Brits, but I know the Germans drink their beer warm. Warm being a relative term. I’d describe it more as cool, around 55-60 degrees. When I was in Germany, some of the _gasthauses _ had sort of an electrical swizzle stick that you could stick in your beer to really warm it up.

Gweedo – It’s legal here !!! – Murray said, about 14 hours ago

I can use notepad for writing the post and copy/paste. What I actually do for this kind of response is copy and paste into the comment box, undo the part that was me last and put in the new material. I will likely then copy and paste into a comic that hasn’t talked for some time and ‘blast off’ !I look for mistakes and correct for my actual post here and delete the practice one. I always copy my material before posting, unless it’s a real short one. I have on numerous occasions erased a post and had to do it over. -When it gets a certain amount of hot, the fun evaporates like a volatile solvent. I have been snapping the event. -A media hound like you would catch the silent Bean Bloops like mosquitoes homing in on a meal. -I might suppose different species of butterfly have different spans. Google a particular one and read its Wiki entry.-Not a puzzle guy. My brother ken loves Sudoku. Ken is a Numbers man. Not to be confused with the kind of “numbers” I used to do. -Should I read something into that ? You’d know if you saw the movie..-Took Ed out to the tree farm today. I planted it shortly after getting back. It is an “Autumn Blaze Maple”-Finally Friday by the time you see this !__________________________________________________I also copy and paste your reply to me in the email draft along with my response. It just saves time because sometimes I’m in a rush.- I suppose you could say that. I don’t always have an eye for mistakes though. Things go right past me. People have pointed out minor errors in Andy Capp strips and I’ve never even noticed.- It’s still a shame that butterflies have a very short life span. It’s a waste because they bring beauty to the nature world.-I can’t understand Sudoku. My Mum is very much a puzzle person but she doesn’t bother with Sudoku.- I’ve only 2 heard songs by Simon & Garfunkel. The other one was “Bridge Over Troubled Water” Nope I’ve never saw the movie you are referring to.- I bet the tree looks lovely.- Well, You know what I’m going to say…. Happy Finally Friday!

To my fellow Cappers. My interview went well today. It wasn’t a proper ‘official’ interview though. The official interview is on 20th June I think. She says that she’ll be happy to put me forward for the interview. So it’s a waiting game for now.Thank you for all your support. Keep your fingers crossed that I get called in for the official interview.

I agree. I’ve had bad luck many times but as I recall it was NEVER on Friday the 13th.
