Neal seems to have a perception problem.

just love the gratuitous slaps at “journalists” – most journalists are out of work these days; maybe we didn’t exaggerate quite enough by following the methods of tv “journalist” glenn beck.

The hamster wants Neal to be another van Gogh. It just can’t reach his ear.

Not the first time this strip is to be seen – I’m a little tired today since I binge-read Cleo from the beginning… it was past 3 AM when I finally went to bed last night…

But I saw Cleo talk her first real words!

You should have ignored him from the beginning. If you completely ignore him, he’ll eventually stop telling those bad puns. But he’ll probably try to find some other way of getting your attention.

Neal’s hamster bit his finger the other day. He’s getting even by giving the hamster a complex. Pretty soon it will be a shivering mass cowering in the corner.

1. Neal has a dark side.

2. His first name is the same as my most recent ex-wife’s last name.

And then Clara says, “Claude, give me your hand and we’ll see if your other hand hurts afterwards”.

Whatever Neal has in that little terrarium…. it ain’t no hamster.

I love Jerry Van A’s artwork… but hamsters are very soft and small… with wee pointy heads.

They look like teeny little furry beanbags with paws in the corners.

Marg thinks it’s a dog…. I dunno, could be …

but whatever it is, I don’t blame it for biting him, if he makes it live in that way-too-small glass tank.
