Especially if it happened to be a convertable with the top down and you were sitting in it.

Don’t park under a power line unless your car is already white.

I wonder how many times Opal took the test to get the bird she wanted?

You know you are really married when you do not even have to do anything to be wrong.

We have a large tree in our front yard and I try to park in the shade but the bad thing is that all the little birdies sit in the tree and AIM at my car………Love the shade hate the tree.

I believe crows often sit on power lines. All birds make messes on cars though.

Malena: Most frequently seen on wires: big ones are grackles and small ones are starlings. I remember birders talk about fights in the ’40s over whether someone saw a boat-tailed grackle in Dallas; now boat-tails and commons are essentially equally numerous. Starlings were introduced to the U S by someone wanting all the birds mentioned by Shakespeare to be here. They are essentially pests now. The only successful human introductions were the Asian ring-necked pheasant and chuckar partridge, neither with a large habitat range. The cattle egret made it from Africa to Brazil in the ’40s on its own, and expanded from there, controlling the parasitic cowbird by competition.
