Bucky: Now... To create a new pop-culture success, you need to suggest something better than trucks and rugby for me to work with! Try again! Rob: Alright, then, South Park. Bucky: Ok, we'll call that cartoons, Satchel already said music, so now we just put a cartoon and a musical act together to forge a new sensation... Bucky: ...I got it. "Simon and Garfield." You can use that. Rob: Are you !@#$ kidding? Satchel: Oh, that would be fantastic! Who's Simon?

Reminds me of The Archies and Josie and the Pussycats.I guess I have to throw Puffy Amiyumi in there, too, since they did have their own cartoon series after the Teen Titan theme got them some attention.

The first RELEASED was Steamboat Willie (Parody of Steamboat Bill), but the first drawn was Gallopping Gaucho (Valentino parody), followed by Flying Fool (Lindbergh parody)

Bucky is talking about a musical group, Simon and Garfield instead of Simon and Garfunkel. Dader (and others) hit that with his “50 ways to love lasagna”
