Just for that, I’m going to suggest that you read today’s “Mother Goose and Grimm.”

I don’t know if you see these comments or not Garry; but I’m terminating our 30+ year relationship. I do not live in the past and I’m spoiled by the strips from today, which ruins the strips from the past. I know this won’t affect your income, and I don’t want it to. I just wanted to thank you for being part of my mornings for the past 3 decades. Goodbye.

Greedy manipulative Zonker. On the other hand, since we LIKE him, it’s okay and normal. When it is done by those we DISLIKE however, . . .

Going back in time, what a wonderful idea, reviewing the genius of GT. For you younger fans there is the Sunday strip and the fabulous Alpha House.

The frightening thing is that many of these older strips are better than what GT has done of late..Did Doonesbury “jump the shark” and we missed it?

@grandpa1There will be a new strip tomorrow (I’ve already read it).GT has given us 40 years of the best satire and character development in the history of comics — minus couple of sabbaticals. You may not live in the past but there is nothing wrong with appreciating what someone has already accomplished.

Just wondering — how is doing the cooking for the commune different than what Ms. Joanie was doing at home?

Maybe she feels a part of the commune, rather than just “kept” because she can cook.

a bouquet… for no particular reason. Joanie would have cooked anyways. Bet hubby never gave the flowers.
