Kinda like the old Batman TV show, “Bat” Biosuit Removal Spray!
I’m Catman!
Interesting to find out these topsiders were merely claustrophobic. The old philosophical tenet that “No man is an Island” rings true for Jim. Willing to trade his isolated “humanity” for such a radical change, just to breathe the air and feel the wind on his fur.
Not to touch the EarthNot to see the sunnothing left to do but run run runLet’s run…
Not everybody could spend such a long amount of time isolated from the world. I feel a little self conscious wiriting this as I sit here in my Office/Laboratory/Workshop in the wee hours of the morning. I am surrounded by screens conveying everything I wish to know thats relevant. The difference is I will be going outside to my car, another isolated environment, To another isolated and controlled environment, where I will interact with others isolated by their offices and labs. The irony is not lost on me, That biosuit is a metaphor for the isolation thanks to the internet we willingly wrap ourselves in. Our front porches and card night at the neighbors has been replaced by online gaming and forums such as these. There is a trade off, we get to make friends see the opinions of others we might have never met due to physical distance and be entertained and informed. That biosuit is no different, the topsiders can interact but there is always that physical barrier of the suit.
Its going to be hard to say what, exactly Jim has become until we see his face. His hair color and height are close to Wally’s. If he turns out to be an anthro feline, he might be Wally’s doppleganger. One thing that intrigues me is that Jim’s ears are facing forward, like Linda’s when her hood was removed. While most anthro felines I’ve seen, Wally — Flask and Cliff come to mind — have their ears pointed aft most of the time, they seem to have the ability to swivel like real cat ears. There is one strip near the end of “The Ballad of Holly and Wally” that shows Wally and Holly relaxing on a lounge chair where Wally’s ears are actually pointed forward. There is also an early strip in “Countdown” arc where Flask first reads Wally’s file and the news makes her ears swivel forward. Apparently their ears can turn, they usually just remain back for some reason, perhaps the stress of being mutants after the end of civilization as we know it has something to do with this.http://endtown.sherri-alexander.com/2011/07/15/endtown-07-15-2011/
We all are. Her “Blind Date” sits over my right shoulder. I envy Prof Mallard.TSOJ…..he is still pissy.AND he has the beak of a duck. (ha)Our first Platypus…….
I see that he’s done the “unveil” here for WallyNo mirrors on board? That’s a Topsider folly(Since they’re all in suits, there is nothing to see)Jim is some short-tailed feline. What will Sarah be?=|====/ Level HeadVote for Endtown 2.0And for Doc Rat, tooThe Endtown ForumThe Endtown AuctionThe Endtown Books
I’ll wager that Sarah will resemble Holly, if Jim resembles Wally. Though I got a flashback to ‘Top Cat’ when I looked at the back of Jim’s head…he kind of resembles Benny the Ball.
Another possibility is that Jim and Sarah might be Chip and Dale…I wonder what will happen between Jim and Sarah once she wakes up and her hood is off. This will be the first time in six years that they aren’t closed off in a suit. As a couple they might be tempted to find a bed sheet, retire to Clive’s lower bunk and lavish affection on each other. Of course, its also possible that they will be weirded out by their new bodies and voices that they may not feel attractive or attracted enough for intimacy at this time.

That spray would make an interesting weapon for the Mutants.
