In the lingo of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a small congregation is called a “branch”; an average size congregation is a “ward.” Anyway, I too remember that hand game with the rhyme.

Sad but true.

Small, but lively. Look at them dance!

Many of the most alive congregations are rather small. Better to be an active member of a cohesive group doing some good in the world than just another face in a megachurch crowd, unknown to anyone around you.

This is the starting point for future rumours and conspiracy theories which insist that Woodstock once was a blue bird.

We had a small congregation. They were very good people who I miss very much

At the church I go to, we also have a fairly small (but closely knit) congregation.

If GoComics is listening to us (since they did re-color the blue bird of weirdness…….), is it time to launch a petition BEGGING them to do whatever it takes to get new “Li’l Abner” strips and to add “Pogo” ?

Linus and Sally were a happy pair back then. It was a little sad, but pretty funny, when he became so annoyed with her later on.

This is the same strip from 1963 only they use Linus instead of Charlie Brown.
