In the lingo of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a small congregation is called a “branch”; an average size congregation is a “ward.” Anyway, I too remember that hand game with the rhyme.

As I posted around 6pm yesterday…everyone should be happy and stop complaining how the little bird should be yellow, because it should be Woodstock showing up…Well check it out…the nice artist went back and changed all of the past comic strips….Yes, indeed it is a yellow Woodstock…

Many of the most alive congregations are rather small. Better to be an active member of a cohesive group doing some good in the world than just another face in a megachurch crowd, unknown to anyone around you.

This is the starting point for future rumours and conspiracy theories which insist that Woodstock once was a blue bird.

That’s like the church we belong to. We’re small, but we’re all like family. We do a lot of community outreach, including a clothing drive/lunch at the end of every month where we give out clothes and lunch. Today I’m going with a group of my “sisters” to a woman’s retreat & am looking so forward to this time with them.

We had a small congregation. They were very good people who I miss very much

At the church I go to, we also have a fairly small (but closely knit) congregation.

If GoComics is listening to us (since they did re-color the blue bird of weirdness…….), is it time to launch a petition BEGGING them to do whatever it takes to get new “Li’l Abner” strips and to add “Pogo” ?

Heavens! They aren’t dancing! Dancing is one of those forbidden things in that congregation.

According to this, Woodstock first appeared from the nest, that his mother built, on Snoopy’s stomach, March 3, 1966. That strip was rerun (in color) here February 28, 2013:

Unless GoComics, or whoever, goes back and changes them, in that strip, and the strips in that arc that followed, all the birds are blue, not yellow.

If the colors are changed, they may also change in the image shown here (which just shows what that strip currently shows), or the image shown here, may no longer exist (display).
