Had to double check the year of the painting when I saw the orange book. I thought perhaps it was Dr. Seuss’s Green Eggs and Ham. :DC.

Click-to-enlarge image can be found at Mr. Melcher’s blog entry. Very similar coloring found here.Portrait of Jean and Geneviève Caillebotte (link shows the Wikipedia page of the father of this brother and sister combo) is, as far as I can tell, privately owned.Though perhaps not as famous as their uncle, their father was a photographer. He took this photograph of them (Jean on the left, click for enlargement)

This (search for Le legs, Legacy in the Google translation) says why the artist did their portrait. The artist’s Wikipedia page (Google translated French Wikipedia page has more) and collection (many more under Subcategories at each level).Fifth, of the 11 works, by this artist, that have, so far, appeared in Mr. Melcher’s blog, to also appear here.
