Conservative: someone (usually male) who’s never had to worry about supporting himself, i.e., had family to fall back on, never had to get a little help for an education, etc.

a conversation requires a speaker and a listener. that won’t be found among most Republicans,as we know, Republican are never wrong, even when they are. lol the lies since St. Reagan have destroyed any chance of living together. watching the fear of ignorant whites being played upon is an aweful example of brilliant and deceitful men.

Fox Lies is part and parcel of the problem, an arm of the Republican war machine. Republicans have decades of experience at this compared to the Vichy Democrats. this is a Republican scam abetted by Democrats. you must give credit where credit is due. lol

Republilcans enjoy getting over others in this Lord of the Flies society. that’s just who they are. evil debased and scum of the earth.

Don’t confuse stupidity with ignorance. Stupid people can still recognize a lie and reject it. Ignorant people will accept any lies that serve them and ignore any truths that don’t.

Fortunately, New York has a mayor, and I hope he enjoys all three terms (or did they change that just for Bloomberg?).

Our number one problem is all our200 year-old slaves? How do you identify them? What is the secret of their longevity?

    What is their problem?

Rubbish. I know quite a few lower-middle-class working stiffs who are neither stupid nor ignorant, but could only be called conservative. Or maybe conservatively independent — working for a living in the real world gives you pretty damn good bullshit radar, and both Dems and Repubs set it off. And that’s what makes them conservative: they’re too savvy to run off after every Pied Piper that comes along

For those of you mystified by “200 years ago”, maybe I could suggest?.People torn from their families and culture;200 years of slavery;100 years of Jim Crow; and 50 years of racism. And you think everything should be just fine?.One thing I’ve noticed that no-one ever seems to mention:if this country had ever accepted African-Americans as full and equal citizens, we could have had a wonderful, harmonious nation. But no, white people, with the South in the forefront, had to fight every last measure for equality. And you wonder why people get angry, and reject your culture? And you’re proud of your “heritage”? I will never understand why.

You are quite right, Adrian. The history of black-white relations is the worst aspect of the American story, pretty much from 1619 to 2014. It shaped the country, and molded the character of its people and its politics. If Africans in chains had never been brought to this country, America would have evolved as a VERY different place.

Politicians are just lying actors. They are figureheads for their bosses, the huge multinational corporations – and China(which was Nixon"s revenge and our future masters)
