I always have a set of jumper cables. Need ’em to start my tractors, an occasional lawn mower, power some DC worklights, sometimes an inverter, and to help out a stranded motorist if the need arises, which was maybe a dozen times in the last 35 years…..
Need for jumper cables is going to happen most likely at a parking lot or other driveway. I seem to use mine to help neighbors or co-workers. They are very glad I have them in my truck.

Seriously: who packs jumper cables? You’re in trouble if you don’t and no passers-by aren’t going to be much help if they too don’t have a set.

The real surprise is finding something “lost” when you take the camper off and see that hidden area in front of the wheel wells since last spring.

Folks laugh until you bail them out of a bind with some of that “junk” in the back of your vehicle.

Sounds like the dash of my car… but I didn’t keep the jumper cables there.

A true plugger hybrid would also be a doghouse and occasional sleeping quarters (or, depending on what he did, maybe both…)
