kind of reminds me of ‘Grumpy Old Men’.

Suddenly, it’s a team sport.

Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to … ice fish.

It still wouldn’t be a sport (real or otherwise), but at least it would have some slight potential to be almost entertaining for a few seconds this way…

@Bruno Zeigerts -There’s a new video out — of fish fighting back.

In Africa, fresh-water “tiger fish” actually leap out of the water and snatch birds (swallows) out of the air and eat them. The birds are skimming the surface looking for fish…So, yeah, the hunted actually do fight back. Over 300 birds snatched out of the air during the course of the biologist’s study. And those tiger fish have some BIG nasty teeth!

Many years ago he had another ice fishing themed strip. Lone fisherman, clearly freezing cold and miserable, huddled over a hole. There is a small spaceship hovering over his shoulder, 2 small aliens looking out at him. The caption was, “Well, that settles it. There’s no intelligent life here.”

I’ve been trying to locate a copy for years! Does anyone have a pointer?

It’s too cold to work, let’s go ice fishing.

They’re gonna need thumbs to do that.

OK , Which one goes through the ice first? OR Last one to fall through is a rotten egg!

Right now as we speak, there are probably people ice fishing in Lake Winnebago, which is less than an hour’s drive from here (if we could get out of our iced-up 200-ft. driveway!).

…just noticed the ice is kind of thin (<ft.) and there are five holes within a ft of each other… I hope these guys can swim…
