APT3G: The delay in Marty’s not calling 911 was foolish – I hope it won’t be consequential.

REX MORGAN: Yeah, we already know this! Let’s get on with the show and get going to dinner.

MARY WORTH: Today’s strip is quite bruta, but Mary is no weakling – in one episode she rode a bike several miles. I hope she recovers her balance and gives this #$%%^ what he deserves.l

MARY WORTH: Arye – I agree.ALLEY OOP: Alley has a remarkable mouthful of teeth for a guy with a 4-digit age (or would it be 5-digits? – I’m no expert re the Paleolithic and Neolithic Stone Ages.) However, I’m inspired to watch the film, Jerome Bixby’s the Man from Earth again (Bixby was a well-known sci-fi scriptwriter for shows like The Twilight Zone & Star Trek). The movie is about a guy from the Upper Paleolithic era who has survived into the present day.

Crankshaft – What happened about the man who was thrown under the bus? Or do the Sunday strips carry a different arc than the dailies?Sally Forth – I’m on Ted’s side in this one.Alley Oop – You know what? I invented a new word the other day. I said “Neo-Paleolithic.” What the heck is that? I meant to say “Neolithic.” Never try to use words like this before at least one cup of coffee in the morning. Anyway, what I was trying to say is that V.T. Hamlin evaded the issue of when Alley Oop lived by calling Oop’s era the “Bone Age” rather than the “Stone Age.” That way, he got away with the idea of having people living at the same time as dinosaurs.

Phantom: It looks like this arc is finally coming to an end.

Rex Morgan: I hope this is it with Sarah for awhile. Let’s eat.

Mark Trail: You could see that coming. What a crooked bridge. If Doc is that unsteady, Mark could have taken him across in a canoe.

Mary Worth: When did Mary switch her pocketbook from her left shoulder to her right one. Will someone come to her rescue. At least this is more action than in a long time.

Judge Parker – Sam, Sophie, Neddie, and April all working independently. Hope something works!Rex Morgan – I think Buck and Doris will be the main focus in coming weeks, with perhaps some issue with Kelly and Nikki on the back burner, interspersed with dealing with the museum just to fill up time. Ugh!Mary Worth – Vicious looking character!A3G – Really dumb that Cole would tell her that and not tell her the doctor’s name and have it posted prominently near the telephone. When I call my doctor’s office, I get an automated message that says "If this is an emergency, hang up and call 911.Sally Forth – “Asides only work in the theater”. Right! LOLCrankshaft – I think the “throw under the bus” remark was just a joke-of-the-day, contrasting figurative/literal word usage.

Crankshaft The Sunday strip rarely follows the same story arc (if any) in the daily strips.Mary Worth This is the first “action” we have seen since the fight in the sharing session at the spa. And that was how many months ago?
