Saturday (as in the day before yesterday), I helped bring down Christmas decorations at the parents’ house.

The idiot stores in our area started putting Christmas stuff up the week BEFORE Halloween!

You can’t commercialize Thanksgiving. Besides, isn’t Thanksgiving supposed to be a harvest feast? What is it doing so late in the fall?

Thanksgiving always falls on the 4th Thursday of November, so how can it be late this year?

Could have done this strip in October and have it say “Happy Halloween”. It’s so depressing. Where’s the joy and fun and excitement in something you have year-round.

Does Thanksgiving start the Christmas holiday season?

I have just started my pecan harvest. Being an odd number year, there isn’t much. Last year one tree filled seven grocery bags, and harvest was September to March. This year, I have the bottom of one bag covered, Pecans alternate years, boom and bust.
