I’m in favor of a little spouse-smooching at the midnight hour as well. Unfortunately, my husband has to work 3rd shift, so our daughters and I are going to have a Girls’ Night In pajama party instead. We have movies, popcorn, and we’re toasting the New Year in with sparkling grape as we watch the ball drop.

That’s it, Phil, beat a hasty retreat. Luckily, my sisters leave me alone to live my life, they do however take a different stance with my brother but not too seriously.

I am proud to say I have kept the last New Years Resolution I made.I resolved to make no more New Years Resolutions.:-).\\//_

Whenever I sing “Auld Lang Syne,” I enlongate “auld” and “be.” So I sing “beee,” also. Has nothing to do with my spelling prowess.

I kept one of my resolutions last year. To read my Bible every day! I’m glad to say I did and will do it again this year! Happy New Year everyone! :-)

Seriously, I agree that it might be good if we send positive vibes/prayers/whatever to the unhappy people in general. I agree with some that it is an obligation to society in general to be a happy person (and for me, it is usually easy in spite of actual circumstance). I’m very happy right now.
