When my doctor prescribed a medication for me, my CORPORATE operated group insurer, decided I couldn’t get that drug, even though on their formulary. I called the company, and found out who MADE THAT DECISION on my health care; it turns out it was a nursing STUDENT who had authority with the company to override DOCTORS’ ORDERS!!
The ACA web site, and other factors, are far from “perfect” largely, well mostly, because of Republican mandated inclusions (yes, they DID write a lot of the bill in committee), it’s far better than letting corporate “money-changers”, like the ones Jesus despised, make the decisions.
