This cartoon seems to show the world listening to a device located in Tennessee?

If it’s saying the NSA is listening to the US, that’s a serious omission: the NSA is listening to everyone, everywhere who uses electronic communications devices. I think they miss a few Yanomamas, but that’s about it. (And most Yanomamas are getting cell phones these days, so the NSA is listening to them, too.)

hard to say the scale is hampered by not having cape cod but it could be in the great lakes or quebec. THAT’s it , it’s all Canada’s fault.

^^^^^Way to stick to the point.
Obama was going to repair the US image, the world was going to love us, we were going to mind our own business, solve our own problems, live and let live, help the poor and downtrodden, rescue the oppressed, aid the victims of Americas greed and selfishness, heal the planet, stop the oceans from rising( oh, I just got the chills), end racial division,……..yada,yada,yada.
Instead we get global wire tapping and
the only friends we have are the Muslim Brotherhood.

Funny how when Bush was in office many of the very same people posting here now were all up in arms about this very same thing. Interesting how things are always ok when it’s your party doing the deed and a gross injustice when it’s the opposing party. Why can’t people grow a spine, see through the BS in DC and think for themselves?

We have Snowden “the patriot” to thank for all this uproar. I hope the Guardian and Russia stop paying him soon for his treason.

Perspective?: Nathan Hale was a “patriot” and national hero for over 200 years! EVERY country has long gathered intelligence on their neighbors, friend and foe, only the technology has “changed” and become for sophisticated. NOTE: it’s a not so secret “secret” that both U.S. and Russian satellites have been gathering intercepted intelligence for several decades. So, why the big flap in the media now? Oh, right, this administration is more “evil”, even though we’re ENDING our longest wars in history, and intelligence gathering has a lot to do with the ability to do that!

YES! Obama has some “screwups” on record. I don’t agree with all of his policy changes (especially giving in to some of the most conservative pressures, just to try to get ANYTHING passed in Congress) but for stupid, or just plain “Evil”, try “unitary presidency”, wars, debt surge, market crash in ’08, and other “Items” from the Bush/Cheney administration and their folks like Feith, Ashcroft, Gonzales, et al!

Lisa doesn’t know the difference between headphones and microphones. Cut her some slack, she’s a conservative.

In 2002, wow, President Obama really had to screw up in order to make a mistake like that before he was even in the Senate.

the LEADERSHIP of my country makes me feel ashamed. Who would have thought twenty years ago that we would eventually become such deceitful cowards.

Your argument is actually a surrender to the fact that this President can’t or won’t, lead. Every president has had to relate to opposition. Every leader faces opposition. Your admitting to his failure to overcome the forces opposing his agenda is admitting HE is a failure and his opposition is succeeding. His signature work, obamacare, was unethically rammed thru a friendly Congress. History proves his leadership quality. Thank you for affirming what the opposition has known all along. The term empty suit come to mind.
