I’m from St Louis and looking forward to tonight’s game 6 of the World Series Cardinals vs Red Sox.MARY WORTH: have we seen a young Mary before? I’d like a flashback story. Maybe, like Funky, they can “change time” and stick with a young Mary. HALLOWEEN: I was upset to see a note from my daughter’s kindergarten teacher asking us to supply blow pop suckers for their Halloween party. Not all 5 year olds know how to “eat” a sucker, my daughter just chews them and I don’t want her to break a tooth. She doesn’t need candy at all!
A3G – Actually, a fairly intelligent conversation, for a change.Mary Worth – Most sources I’ve read say that the only thing in common between Apple Mary and Mary Worth is the first name. Within my memory, Mary has always been a middle-aged widow. I don’t think we’ve ever learned about her childhood or youth. I hope we do, and that it isn’t just her telling Shelley about it while they sit in a restaurant.Judge Parker – I wonder if April suspects a connection between the kidnapping and the people following them on the cruise.Rex Morgan – I think Doris knew about the invitation but not the menu, which she feels they can’t afford. Buck wants to appear more successful than he really is.Sally Forth – Is there some significance in Sally’s hairdo in the first panel?
