Crunchy passed by a “Grammar Trap”…. almost like a “radar trap”… but more….. “seriouser”……

Recessive grammar Gene has just sprung to life and invaded Joes’ body. He is done for. He will now be a corrective nuisance in public .

Seriously, the “lie, lay” thing is a lost cause. My doctor tells me to “lay down,” so I go ahead and lay down.

I usually say lay but lie down is good if you want to be proper or whatever

usually it is women who are afraid of turning into their mothers….

…guess if I care, I haven’t been getting lied enough

Non nit pickers released two convicted killers recenty because they didn’t look closely at forged documents.They let the Challenger blow up by not worrying about the effect of cold on seals.They let 9/11/01 people train to fly airplanes without bothering about landing them.They let people have mortgages they couldn’t afford,leading to a financial meltdown.They let a well blow out in the Gulf of Mexico by not following long established safety procedures.They elected (insert despised politician of your choice here) by not looking more closely into his/her/its background.They lay down on the job and lie in deep doodoo.
