    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Phew! Finished “Omaha Hi-Lo” week in class today. The dealing is easy, but reading those low hands can get very tricky. Friday is a non-class day, but it is my big work day.

Morning, Vagabonds. Actually the car I bought was a Dodge Caravan. We wanted a Chrysler Town and Country, but it was a little out of our price range. Retired, you know. But I insisted on a GPS and Blue Tooth. We wound up saving a bunch by having them install the GPS and Blue Tooth with after-market equipment. Lots cheaper. Also the car is a year old, so we saved a little there too, although it has only 24,000 miles on it. But we got it at 1.99%, which I think is about as low as you can get these days.

David, it sounds like you got a pretty good deal. And considering that the Town & Country and the Caravan are pretty much the same vehicle with a few cosmetic differences, you even got (almost) exactly what you wanted.Me, I’ll keep my Prius until it dies, because for the only time in my life I was able to pay off the loan early and have been enjoying no payments. It will be hard to go back to car payments when the time comes.

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

I’ll echo what Jan says………that sounds like a pretty good deal, David.

We’ll stick with our Pilot………….2003, with 229,000 miles on her and still lots more in her. Only maintenance and one set of brakes, and one warranty item in all those years. With our Fords and GMC they were always in the shop, and our Ford van was the only one that lasted to 200,000 miles.

We’re still expecting a big Alaskan storm late Sunday and Monday. Should be our first measurable snow of the season. We made reservations to go down to Yellowstone Wed/Thurs, but might have to cancel if the passes are snowed in. We’ll see.
