Does anyone else’s mall open their doors before the stores open to allow for the mall walkers to come in early?

In Edwardsville, PA, the West Side mall opened at 6:00 AM. There were lime green footprints stuck to the floor (ala Arthur Murray) to define the path around the mall.

The mall I used to work in had several walking clubs. I’m sorry it closed. After the last vendor left the food court, a couple clubs started packing sandwiches and drinks and sharing with the other clubs. I really enjoyed working there and seeing the neighborly way people acted there.

One nice thing about mall walking, is that the person does not have to deal with inclement weather. So one can still get a walk in if it is snowing, raining, heat warning, etc.. for the out side and not get hit with the weather while doing the walk.

The only problem with mall walking in my region is that there happens to be a store (Ambercrombie & Fitch) that has some sort of automatic scent dispenser at their doors and even before they open each day, there is such a heavy, clinging amount of that “perfume” there every day that it is nauseating.
