Mary Worth: Is Wilber going to fire Mary from the advice column which she didn’t do when she went to the spa? With all her walking, eating, saving peoples jobs and philosophizing she didn’t have time.

I think concern about Buck’s “accident” has just entered Rex’s mind.JUDGE PARKER: If the kidnapping is really a scam, Ross doesn’t need to be rescued. As to the cruise to Acapulco: The plan was to get to Acapulco and then travel outside the city (with security) to visit April’s dad at “La Cura” somewhere in the Guerrero countryside. However, in real life both the city and the surrounding area were hard hit with flooding and landslides after the recent storm. I have been wondering if cruise ships are still going into Acapulco.
Judge Parker – The last few days happen within a few minutes; it just seems longer to us. As I recall, the cruise ship wasn’t going to Acapulco – too dangerous. They were going to leave the cruise at – somewhere – maybe Puerto Vallerto, and fly in from there. When all this started it wasn’t the rainy season so they don’t need to consider current events.Rex Morgan – Perhaps questioning the wisdom of a newly divorced guy remarrying in 3 weeks.Mark Trail – Maybe Anne Marie isn’t as enthralled with Johnny as she appeared.Mary Worth – I think Mary wrote columns ahead before she went on her trip. Maybe people are complaining that she never really answered their questions. They should hire Paige from Foxtrot.
MW July 8, Mary said she “had to work ahead on the column”. That’s the only mention of “Ask Wendy” in this story line. On July 7, there were comments about cutbacks at the university & how Ian’s job might be in jeopardy, and on July 6 Mary commented that Jeff couldn’t travel for 2 months because he was working on fund raising. Either one could be a new story line.
JUDGE PARKER – June 10-12, the group was told that there was a change in itinerary and the ship would not be going to Acapulco. They will fly them from Puerto Vallarta to Acapulco and back. I don’t know why the airport would be any safer and going into the jungle sounds even less so.
