Small dragon? I think it is the state bird of Michigan, and it hasn’t evolved all that much since B.C.

Yoopers are people from the Upper Peninsula in Michigan, a.k.a., Yooperland.

Back in the day when the Earth’s atmosphere had about 35% oxygen (several hundred million years ago – today it’s about 20%), insects could grow larger. There were millipedes 10 feet long, and dragon files the size of geese. And you couldn’t sqish a cockroach under foot; it would take a sizeble and massive club just to stun it.

Mosquitos(sp) a problem in Forgottonia also, ‘but dragonflies about 3 to 4" long. Dragonflies don’t bother humans, though.
