PHANTOM: I like the binocular view in panel 1 (you have to click Buy a Print to see it).FUNKY W: The Accidental Quarterback.JUDGE PARKER: Steve’s contact in Timbuktu in Mali is 1,000 miles away from the checkpoints in Niamey in Niger. It will be interesting to see how this story arc plays out.
Judge Parker – The Sunday recap just makes this story move more slowly than ever.Sally Forth – I think this is the reason I quit reading Sally Forth many years ago. I get so angry at the old bag that’s always complaining. Comics should make the reader happy, not angry.
MW: I clicked Buy a Print to see panel 1, & found a quotation there from something Mary Austin wrote about Shoshone (Indian) lands. I seem to always enjoy the MW panel-1 quotes.
Prince Valiant- I don’t think the girls “private quarters” willbe private on that ship their on- also their doing servile work which they never have had to do!
Mary Worth – I liked the quote about the desert. Maybe that’s also a way to tell us to be more patient, but I WANT A NEW STORY!!JP – Sunday recap. Yes, it moves slowly, but still more interesting than most – kidnappings, wedding cruise, bride with CIA type job, being watched by several people, hat floating in water, father dying in remote area.Rex Morgan – Does Buck make bad choices in marriage or what?Phantom – Both this story arc and the weekday Mandrake repeats deal with Mandrake’s evil brother, Luciphor. But did Luciphor count on Phantom being along on this trip?

Phantom: Was this just to get revenge on Mandrake?
Rex Morgan: We learn a little more about Buck. How long before we hear the whole story?
Mary Worth: All we are hearing about is Mary’s meddling. She thinks she is “The Great Counselor.”
Prince Valiant: Boy, did his daughters get a surprise. Their mother didn’t seem to have the least concern about how they were acting.

I finally remembered to check “But a Print” to see the first 2 panels of each comic. They really help one to understand the context.
MARY WORTH: This is getting to be the weekly review as in “Apt3g.”
APT3G: "
while “SALLY FORTH” has abandoned its independent Sunday version and made it a continuation of its weekday strips.
