I, a citizen of the US, didn’t know UK/Canadian/NZ/Aussie English spells “mold” with a U. “Honour, flavour, rumour, colour, favourite” and others I knew, but never “mold.”

I’ve visited Australia, and did try some Vegemite. Didn’t like it however. I prefer peanut butter, but they called it peanut paste.

Another thing that surprised me was how some words are spelled differently. For example: “curb” (concrete barrier on the side of a street) is spelled KERB.

So — you both have the same thing for lunch today, right?

I tasted vegemite once. I tasted kippers once. In both cases once was too much.

Vegemite is an old species of mold. The way to eat it is to put a small dab on a large piece of toasted bread that is saturated with butter.

Of all the things I’ve lost, I think I miss my mind the most.

I imagine it’s a very heathy thing to eat, brewer’s yeast has a lot of nutrients, but I doubt I’d like it.
