I guess he operates on the theory that if one is good for you than a whole bunch is better. What happened to his face in panel 3. Did all that weed erase all his lines and make him look like an albino?
REX MORGAN: I’ve heard that St John’s wort is far from beneficial.
APT3G: I recently lost a good friend to brain cancer; she suffered grievously for over a year, so I feel bad for Cole as well as for his young daughter.

SALLY FORTH: Two things I remember about this strip is when the 4th wall is broken down: Once Sally pushed the wall of a panel and bent it out of shape. Then, the day after the 2008 presidential electial elections, Sally and Ted are discussiong the election results without concluding as to who won the election, admitting to the readers that the strip was written BEFORE the results came in.I cherish that copy of the strip, wherever I have it.
Rex Morgan – I have friends and relatives who claim that St. John’s Wort actually works, but I’m unfamiliar with Gingko Bilboa. But taking anything “like mints” is bad news.Phantom – @Woodworker – Good question. – @Florchi – Good answer, then he can check the guns in the luggage.Judge Parker – What’s with the sly look in panel 2?Mandrake – They’re not aboard a ship, they’re poolside. some strips seem to be idling and I’m looking forward to the Sunday strips. No idea where 3G, Rex, Phantom, and Judge Parker are headed, and I’m enjoying the Mandrake flashback and new artwork, both Annie’s, and oddly Mary Worth at the spa.
Mandrake – According to Wikipedia, Fred Fredericks announced his retirement in July and the strip will go into reruns in September. I wonder if they will tie up the Hojo story and have a final encounter with Luciphor.
Phantom They probably won’t in this strip, but the New York airport personnel take guns in the luggage very seriously. There have been plenty of folks who pack their pistols in the luggage and then find out that you have to have a New York license in order to even possess them. You cannot carry a weapon in NY with an Arizona license.Rex I don’t know what the combination of those two supplements would do, but Rex appears to be taking it very seriously.Mary Here we learn Mary’s little-known secret. She empathizes with her “patients” so much, she has to heal herself afterwards. (Not to mention the heat exhaustion.)
