MARY WORTH: Elinor’s thought bubble, “So far, so good,” is ominous. It looks like there will be more to this story.
APT3G: Is Maggie crying because she has no one to love?
REX MORGAN: Are the museum people conning the Morgans? How does Rex have the energy to be at the museum at 8 AM after a full day’s work the day before? Come on, let’s see what’s going on with Uncle Miltie.
Mary Worth: Ah, the plot thickens. It doesn’t seem like Elinor had a conversion after all. It looks like she is working on some dirty trick to break up Beth and Tom.Mark Trail: Now we are going out to jack a deer tonight. Will Mark hear the shots and will the deer’s eyes be wide open from the light?Phantom & Rex Morgan: Still ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
MARY WORTH: I’ll repeat the comment I posted last Monday: I wonder if this story arc is really over…could there be more drama ahead for Beth & Tom? I thought something may have been foreshadowed by the seafood/meat episode (last weekend),
Judge Parker – And on … and on …Rex Morgan – By the expression on Sarah’s face, she doesn’t look friendly.@Arye – I’ve suspected the museum people from the beginning.Phantom – ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZMark Trail – Mr. Baker: “A thousand bucks? I’ve already paid! This place is a rip-off!”
My! My! What a suspicious lot! I think you’re trying to inject some drama into what are insipid stories.Mary Worth – Just another example of awkward wording.Rex Morgan – Dragging out a side story since June 9 which could have been told in one day a week while other stories continued.A3G: If Margo’s alone, it’s her own fault. And poor Tommie, works all the time, and doesn’t even get any strip time.Judge Parker – Now there’s plenty of suspicious plots going on here.
Mary I, too thought Elinor’s words were a bit odd. She’s said several things lately that, taken without the thought balloon would be just nasty comments. I wonder how Beth feels about them given that she can’t read thoughts.JP Today we see the basis of Alan’s worries. Money. Since he’s a wealthy, successful author and Avery is paying him a tidy sum to write the screenplay from his book, I don’t think a single bad review in an obscure magazine for book authors will make much of a difference in sales. Can anyone say “over reacting”?Rex I agree that Sarah’s book deal is highly improbably, but I doubt the museum people are sinister.
JP The cartoonist has been depicting Katherine as a not-so-nice character in the past few months. Now, she seems to be the one with sense. Perhaps we’ve been a bit too rough on her.
