Remind me to try that next time I run in to a pirate. but it still doesn’t answer one thing, WHAT WAS HE DOING IN THE BOX! How did he get in that trunk? Was he born there? was he locked in there and he just never ages? did he sneak in and hide int here recently? is the book in the trunk a magical portal to an other reality? Was he summoned by a magic spell? was he a moth that was given form by the magic of a book? is he an illusion projected in some fashion? just how, why…

The answer to world peace, the perfect chocolate chip cookie. Has anyone noticed the smiley on the fierce pirate’s cap?

@kaykeyserI went back and read some of the early strips for this comic, Locke (the pirate boy) lives in an alternate dimension where kids are the dominate life over adults. Millie first meets him by unexpectantly finding a portal in Lwellins couch cushions. There are many other portals Im sure

This kind of stuff is why I wish Dana would have started running the comic from the beginning on here. I know the art work was a lot less refined then, but you miss some great storylines. Heck, my favorite one — the one that got me hooked on this strip to begin with — was the one where Millie (and her mom) first meet Ozy’s dad.

I know dragons can BBQ I’ve only heard of one that could bake perfect blueberry muffins. Add baking to dragon talents.
