Llewellyn knows his enemy’s weak points.

Remind me to try that next time I run in to a pirate. but it still doesn’t answer one thing, WHAT WAS HE DOING IN THE BOX! How did he get in that trunk? Was he born there? was he locked in there and he just never ages? did he sneak in and hide int here recently? is the book in the trunk a magical portal to an other reality? Was he summoned by a magic spell? was he a moth that was given form by the magic of a book? is he an illusion projected in some fashion? just how, why…

Bet nobody ever tried that with Blackbeard!

The answer to world peace, the perfect chocolate chip cookie. Has anyone noticed the smiley on the fierce pirate’s cap?

It probably wouldn’t have worked with hardtack.

All your questions will be answered in time. Well, most of them. Some, a couple, maybe. Ah heck, read Dana’s webcomic, it’s a blast.

I went back and read some of the early strips for this comic, Locke (the pirate boy) lives in an alternate dimension where kids are the dominate life over adults. Millie first meets him by unexpectantly finding a portal in Lwellins couch cushions. There are many other portals Im sure

Does this work on Somolian Pirates?

Be afraid, be very afraid, The smiley face is the symbol of the most voracious pirates of our time.

Might have worked on Captain Jack Sparrow though

THE BOX is probably just another portal to the alternate dimension hidden in Llew’s couch.

This kind of stuff is why I wish Dana would have started running the comic from the beginning on here. I know the art work was a lot less refined then, but you miss some great storylines. Heck, my favorite one — the one that got me hooked on this strip to begin with — was the one where Millie (and her mom) first meet Ozy’s dad.

The smiley face is the trade mark of “Eddie the Mangler” who is a serial killer, artist and werewolf.
