    And then you go to an antique consignment mall and see how much the prices are on fishing lures that you still use. Gasp!

    We have all of those in the house (somewhere) except the bread dough slicer.

    Yep. Got em all somewhare. Wife still uses the rolling pin, Dough slicer and the Tater masher.

    I always wanted a miniature version of that potato masher – for frijoles refritos. The beans slip between the wires of the standard size ones. We lost a great hardware store a couple years ago. You could get all that display (except maybe the ulu) off the shelf at normal prices.

    Ate there Saturday….after about a 20 minute wait…well worth it….leftovers were Sunday lunch.

    pcolli: My wife is using it for her famous jellies and I would not interfere for two obvious reasons. Besides, I can buy canned frijoles refritos and season them properly with wild onions and an assortment from the spice cabinet just as well. In fact, that is what we had for supper tonight.
