These two remind me of the Fugue For Tinhorns from the musical Guys and Dolls : " I got the horse right here…."

He was arrested for streaking at Churchill Downs, thus began his losing streak.

The Man with the Boulders Says:

Thursday eve after all day in yard and garden:

Number Three said, about 7 clean public toilets ago

I would watch ‘Redd Foxx’ all over again and try and ‘get over’ the thing(s) that made me feel uncomfortable. But I did enjoy the rest. I think me being sensitive is one of my bad qualities but people seem to like me for it.

’Mama’s Family’ sounds awesome! Thank you for the little description about it too.

I’m glad the plumbing is going well and the other household stuff. Have you got much more to do?

I loved the part in one of the Blackadder episodes where Blackadder says to Lord Flasheart that people would rather meet the man who cleans out the public toilets in Aberdeen than him.

You have a nice Thursday too.

Thanks. I did. I got my garden in today, finally !Put up my string fencing to keep deer at bay and laid down the carpet rem. fragments as a weed barrier. I think my timer is hinky and will look at it tomorrow. Started at 7:30 AM and worked ‘til 1:30 PM. Stopped to do some hand weeding around the two properties and went out to get a little more dumpster carpeting to finish the ground cover. I finally stopped about 6 or so. The weather was cool and I worked at an easy pace. What a load off to have that done !

I think one can handle the “Redd” humour without having to talk that way themselves.A Mama’s Family episode, as promised.

    Happy finally Friday

and he further states:A Thursday night Capp:

Bin in such a hurry lately I forgot to say “Thank you”, Number Six for The Bloodhounds. Sorry to see them as the last ones too. Did he run out of “juice” and drop over ? You’re kinda young to be losin’ a Mam. .((((( for you ))))), Six. .I caught Moon Mullins in the paper in the ‘60s. Was readin’ Gasoline Alley too. .I saw ALL the Mama’s Family’s as reruns in the 90s, bev. Mom thought Vicki Lawrence was a hoot on the old Carol Burnett Show. In fact, she loved Carol Burnett and so I caught a good bunch of them myself. I’m surprised Louie the Labrador wasn’t among the Highland trouble makers. .“I’m strong to the finich ’cause I eats me spinich !”.Time to hit the shower.

Some baseball players go through their entire careers in a “slump” but some managers and general managers are as much in denial as the players and refuse to trade them for a bag of chips. (End of irrelevant rant.)

Da Boulder Property Holder says:Friday Morning Capp:

Number Six said, about 1 jammed press ago

    @Gweedo Murray.

After 18 months, the strip still wasn’t appearing so I stopped. I had no end of ideas…

With that “no end of ideas” would it be prudent to draw out the ‘toons anyway ?   A whole collection might be worthy of publication as some kind of comic book. I’m sure the publisher would want money upfront to print it. …and then there is where would it be sold ?This kind of stories would be a nice thing to have available while in some waiting room or tire shop; it would be a nice alternative to the often times drek that awaits us in such facilities.

@Number SixI wonder if some children’s magazines or websites or pediatrician waiting rooms might be interested in your Bloodhounds? Like you say, they are both educational and entertaining. Perhaps you could expand them to other forms of medicine? (Never in a preachy way, of course, I’m sure you never would be preachy.) But with all the material out there (warnings about dangers, urgings for exercise and good hygeine, and so forth), and your very likeable characters, I would think there just might could be a market for it!
