OMG! are you kidding? I keep seeing my comments up twice on lots of these forums! And when I go back to refresh on some of them I see that one says 1 minute ago and the other can say 6 hrs ago and they’re right next to each other. And I’ve seen some other people’s comments in twice so I’m amazed you’re only seeing one!

And right now I see both of my comments, the first one and the second one are each in there twice. This place is driving me absolutely crazy!

Some of ours are long, but pretty light….Maybe they could get a heavier one from the Doonesbury forum…or maybe on a political cartoon.

Ahoy Ballardeers from Guayaquil, Ecuador ! The galleon, The Irish Rover sailed into port early Thursday morning ( 3 hours late, from Miami ). I took a couple of days to kick back but today is casa / apartmento hunting day. Wish StelBel was here. Anyway, I’m doing fine and once I get settled in, will be able to be back in the groove on groovey Ballard Street !Love to all and for those of you who`ve sent me personal e-mails, sorry I haven’t responded. Yes, I noticed yesterday that it was a mirage caused by the refresh being hit after the comment (and if you delete either one they both disappear. Annoying, but I doubt they will change that (and now that we know, just ignore it).

@Susan, I gave up on the tiny short season tomatoes (for now at least) but the weather has been cool here for much of the last month; just now we have days inching back over 90 by the end of day, so last night I put on the AC for just an hour to pull upstairs temp down under 80, then off so I could have breezes all night from the big window.

Just refreshed again to see if anyone else is here and 2 of mine duplicated!! WAY CRAZY!

What makes it hard for Norman is that his neighbor Stan plays the Star Spangled Banner upon arising and at sunset. Norm fights his rocketry impulses as best he can, but when he hears the anthem, his rocketing impulse to rocket just overwhelms his non-rocketing conscience.Rock(et) On Norm!

So Linguist you have moved to Ecuador. May I ask why? Just curious. A friend of a dear friend of mine, who I kind of know through my dear friend, he and his wife are moving to Costa Rica because it is cheaper for seniors, and I understand that LOL, and I have seen photos of where they are moving to. It’s a gated community, pleasant temps, no snow, and JUST BEAUTIFUL surroundings.

Not to exclude anyone else, but it has been a while since I saw DAZZ, Number Six and Linda! HI FOLKS!

I don’t know, Dry. I thought you had been around (but I read many ’toons). May have seen you at Dinette Set. I comment now and then on a variety too (even some at Comics Kingdom that are not on here).

Thanks Red for the Mothers Day wishes. I just finished a Skype with my youngest son. I heard from the other kids by phone but with Skype I could watch while he played with his birds (he shares that hobby with me). I was surprised to have a call for that occaision from my man (as we both had teens when we met and have none together). But we had a nice long chat and he was also going to Skype both of his daughters (each has 2 children now). I will use the AC for an hour as I did yesterday right before bed (with a nice soaking bath). Eventually I’ll have to keep the windows closed, but as long as the mornings are low 70s, I prefer fresh air.
