MARY WORTH: Mary needs to tell Beth that Tom’s been asking for her. That would change Beth’s whole perspective (Unless that part of the conversation wasn’t covered in the plot).
REX MORGAN: You’d better unblock your schedule and take these tests unless you want your wife to be a widow." Rex has a very convincing way of putting things, but will Milton keep his 8 Am appointment at the lab?
APT3G: I don’t understand what kind of “short list” LuAnn is on.
Mary Worth: That was a clever way for Mary to tell Beth to call Tom. Will she do it infront of Elinor?
Phantom: I gues we are gong to have some action.
Rex Morgan: There was no fooling around with Rex. He told him in no uncertain terms that he was having those tests regardless of what was on his schedule.
PHANTOM: That was a pretty big jet the pilot was flying…can it land on a jungle strip? So what kind of drugs are on the trailer – marijuana? (We have had MJ stories in the Mark Trail & Judge Parker strips) Devil’s bandages are long gone and he looks ready for action.MARY WORTH: I am not sure what it mean’s to “…live life out loud.” (The quote has been attributed to the French writer, Emile Zola.)
JUDGE PARKER: There was a Tribune newspaper article yesterday about armed vigilante patrols that have sprung up in sections of rural Mexico, particularly in the state of Guerrero (the region where Acapulco is located). We have seen April Bower use a gun…will she need one in Mexico?
Mary Worth – I agree with Arye. To know that Tom has called and left messages would be reassuring to Beth and give her the courage to call him. It would also reveal that her mother has been keeping the messages from her. She needs to stand up to Elinor.Mandrake – How could Sally get down to the site where the car is? She must not be under Jockomo’s spell any more, butit would be dangerous to climb over those rocks. A3G – The short list for a prize- New in New York, or something like that.
Donald Duck – Could someone explain this please?Panel 1 – Donald walks into a hardware store.Panel 2 – Donald asks for a quart of paint, a paint brush, and some wall paper, wrapped as a gift.Panel 3 – Donald leaves the hardware store with the strangely shaped package.Panel 4 – Donald mails the package. It is addressed to Adolph Hitler.
I once had a Donald Duck VHS tape that was WWII propaganda – mostly about buying war bonds. I would probably have thought it good if I’d seen it back then, but now it seemed so biased and devoid of entertainment.

Phantom – Look at the expression on Devil’s face!Rex Morgan – Be there or be square.Mandrake – Sally does seem to be free of the spell.

Mandrake: Sally has fooled us before. Mandrake would be smart to continue hiding (under the car?) until she is gone.
