REX MORGAN: Rex said it right: “If you want to continue making money, you have to be alive to do it.”

MARY WORTH: Why doesn’t Mary just let Beth know that Tom has been trying to reach Beth?

JUDGE PARKER: Is Neddy’s friend Thalia still in the tub drinking the bottle of wine? Somehow I think there’s more to the “adorable” Mrs. Clearing than meets the eye….FUNKY W. And, after 4 interesting panels, in the last panel we see Les write “Fade In:” (the first two words of every screenplay).APT 3-G: I’m still wondering where the real governor of the state of New York, Andrew Cuomo, is hiding (or is Peter Russo “governor” of something else—e.g., the board of the museum or something).REX MORGAN: Rex’s intervention will turn things around.MARY WORTH: Mary’s intervention will turn things around.

Rex – The bottom line is… maybe that will get Milton’s attention.Judge Parker – Does Neddie have a crush on Thalia?Mary Worth – Mary probably hasn’t figured out that Beth hasn’t received any messages. She thinks Beth is too self-deprecating to return the calls.Funky – Another screenplay storyline. Les dreams of winning an Oscar, but has writer’s block. Meanwhile, his wife is seeing dollar signs.Crankshaft – The “cherry blossoms came out on the Bradford pear” in my neighborhood this week. Maybe there is hope for a spring.

A3G – This is a fictional NYC with a fictional governor. There is a character in House of Cards named Peter Russo which I haven’t watched so can’t say if thereis any “borrowing” going on here.

CRANKSHAFT: Bradford pears are in bloom here in St Louis. They were planted in and around the parking lot at my workplace several years ago. Following last week’s tornado and winds of 100+ mph, the lot looked like snow had fallen as many of the white blossoms had been blown off of the trees…

Funky Since when do “straight to cable TV” movies earn Oscars? Emmys maybe.
