Nothing like having a captive audience.

He tried selling at the mausoleum’s, but he wasn’t good at cold calls.

A coworker in sales loved to take telemarketer calls. Once after a 45 minute call from a lawn care company, they got to the “close”. When the telemarketer asked for a go, my co-worker replied that the service sounded great — but he lived in an apartment!

He’s got to put in his report that he had so many contacts during the day. Doesn’t have to say where.

A captive audience is a good thing to have, sometimes.

If this isn’t deemed “cruel and unusual” punishment maybe prisons could make a few extra bucks by having prisoners listen to salesmen and telemarketers do training inside the prison.

When the copier gypsies call and ask about how much toner we need for the copier, they ask for the model. I say I dont know and put them on hold until they hang up.

It must work for them. I have been getting these calls for more than twenty years.

I cant believe that there that many idiots that would place an order in a situation like that. Oh well.
