love the little tape recorder, so “back in the day”. Back in the 70’s we used to record evenings with the baby for my mom and send them to her so she could hear the grandbaby. We lived in Hawaii and mom was in Texas so it was a long trip to see the grandbaby but the tapes were great. Sadly the tapes all disintegrated over the years and we no longer have those memories…..kind of like all the photos back then turned orange and pink and such.
8:45 am Saturday. About to spend my second day at the Ad Astra convention. I’ve been waiting months for this, and so far it’s been worth it! (Spent nearly two hours sitting next to Jim Butcher last night, listening to him talk about LARPing and martial arts.)
