Fooled a lot of us this week, didn’t they? I thought sure the Sunday strip would be Luann gets the news. Didn’t think she’d get it on the shoes, though.

This week it is!

Come to think of it, nobody asked about Luann during BT’s announcement celebration. Is she sitting Shannon?

Very reminiscent of the Luann cartoons of the 80s & 90s… other than Luann no longer looks like a balloon in a sweatshirt

Wow! We can subtitle this one, “Being Deep On A Sunday”… Like a piece of art!

….and now, for our station sign in….

I guess half of us were half right….. maybe half said she’d appear on Sunday to get the news ( she did appear, but is not getting news right now, so half right)… the other half said she’d get it later, even Monday… so in that sense, we ALL win! lol! maybe the other half will happen on Monday, so the maxim “half the people are half right half the time (or the other half of the time)” can be true…

Echoing what others have said: Luann got the call of doody…… ha ha!

The future is …NOW! No, wait a minute, now is the present. Whoops, now it’s the past. Hold on, here comes the future – Here it is – wait – Nope, it’s the present again. AAAH! Now it’s the past again. Drat! It was the future, but it skidded by as I was trying to grab it. …my head hurts.

Actually, “Unbecoming”, as Bernice puts it, is happening right now. Our bodies are constantly shedding skin cells, yet life goes on.

Some would say that it “We already are, life if finding out who we are. The unhappy person is someone trying to live who their not.” Or something like that… Also, “We are human being, not human doings.”

Excellent strip today. Food for thought. They are all right. Now is what we have and tomorrow will be another “now” if we are lucky enough to get there—not that we should not plan for it.

See! I told you the Sunday strip usually has nothing to do with the daily story. Usually doesn’t mean always, but it does mean usually.

Luann, life is helping others when they need it and letting others help you when you need it. That’s all.

Luann and friends will never “become” (as in, become seniors, become grads, become adults, etc.) because they are stuck in a time loop. No one but the Doctor can save them now! How’s that for a crossover? ;-)

Luann, you’re supposed to pick up after your dog, not step in it.

Luann’s life WILL be poop as long as she keeps waiting for things to come to her rather than go after them.

Hopefully, Luann will find out about Toni and Brad tomorrow!

I smell a Brad and Toni spin-off.

I’ll take this the opportunity during the brief lull in the story to share what I think might happen in the near future. This summer could be epic, but I think either during or after it ends, if Luann and Quill are still an item, Aaron Hill will return. How’s that for drama?

I’d say that after her brush with cancer, Delta has taken away a good message.

Wah, wah. kid. You are cute, smart, have a loving family, a safe practice romance underway, etc etc. If comic strip land ever lets you become an adult, you will look back and realize growing up is way over-rated.
