Either turn up the volume on your hearing aid, Earl, or replace the battery.

My BFF had termites in her house, they did a lot of damage. I’m sure she could have used some termite insurance. I almost dropped my teeth, had no idea we had the little critters here.

Maybe it’s not Earl’s hearing that’s the problem. TV folks don’t always speak clearly. My hearing’s just fine but for a long time I thought they were talking about “just a beaver” (which didn’t make any sense…but neither does most TV in general). Found out later it was some kid singer they were referring to.

I hate the commercials that have a dozen people (one at a time) saying the same thing over and over. Also hate the ones that have a different person saying one word in a long sentence. Love the mute button.

On the other hand, there is a car dealer in Oklahoma City that I would buy from if I could afford a new car. No yelling nor stupid "Free’ stuff. He ends his commercials with, “Respectfully, Bob Moore”.

Love it from Roscoe scratching to insurance for termites to hearing loss……just really funny. Way back some of us used to call comics the ‘Funnies’.

Sometimes Closed Captioning is worse than listening to the actual program. Apparently Reality Competition shows are served the worst by it. Check out tonight’s “The Amazing Race” to see what I mean.

Correct. But Roseanne Rosanna-Danna would have said, “That just goes to show, it’s always something!”
