What’s humorous about this cartoon is Obama has seriously cracked down on and deported illegals at a much higher rate than his predecessor. Add to that illegal immigration has been way down because of the recession. Oh well, I suppose some will find the toon entertaining….

If all those evangelical “conservatives” would suck up to the Roman Catholic Church, they wouldn’t have to keep claiming it’s “hispanics” being rushed across the border, and they’d get more votes.
I really don’t understand the message; perhaps it’s because I’m retired and living in Mexico..I see an authority figure (DHS) has nailed shut the door labeled “GOP VOTES” and behind him, unnoticed, a couple with backpacks are running through the door labeled “DEM VOTES” – but what does it mean?.It can’t be the porous border, because the agent is on the same side of the fence as those “escaping,” right?.Is the Department of Homeland Security closing the door for those who would vote GOP, while leaving open the door for those who would vote DEM?.This ’toon is meaningless to me.
That’s funny. It’s only GOP-controlled states that are restricting the vote, and targeting specifically Democratic-leaning populations. But Lisa has never let the truth get in the way of a lousy cartoon.
while doing research for a city election in 2009 i found of the 70 people i know in my precint who voted in 11/08 were 2 dead people [02/08 and 07/08] that is only 3% in order to have a case you have to grab them in the act when i found a few months later that dead had voted nothing could be done
