APT3G: No one is sure what Margo’s condition is.

REX MORGAN: From Aug 15 to Feb 14 is only a few days is Comicland.

MARY WORTH: Mary doesn’t seem too happy about going to New York to apprentice with a master chef for 8 months. After all, she likes living at CharterHouse and being with Jeff and, for Pete’s sake, just eat the cake, especially that sugar statue of her.

Rex August 15 is when Melissa explained the situation. It took until September 18 for them to land in San Diego. That was one looooong shopping trip, June.Mary Eight months training with “Chef Pierre” in New York? What? Not Chef Buddy in Hoboken?

PHANTOM: What if the miners recaptured the lioness that P. freed? She knows that P. is her friend….MARK TRAIL: More great scenery! (panel 3)/po;MARY WORTH: I am currently reading a book about a woman who went to school and then apprenticed to learn to be a good cook…maybe Mary should go for it! (We are discussing “My Life In France” © 2006, by Julia Child, at the library group later this month). NOTE: Extra typing at the end of Mark Trail comment was added by my cat (walking across my keyboard).

MARY WORTH: John can go to the cooking school and auction the other entry for charity. I’ve recently been enjoying using cookbooks and preparing meals. I put a Betty Crocker cookbook in each of the reading areas of my home to encourage myself to look for something new every day.

I saw a copy of this autobiography on my library’s “new titles” listings. I do not remember if I reserved it and will check my reserves today

@Florchi: Never thought about that possibility to the story. Like Daniel in the lions den.

Rex Morgan: I noticed that there were tears in Delores’s eyes yesterday. It seems that she has bonded with June and Rex.

Phantom – “Mean.” What an understatement.Mark Trail – Nothing really happened today.Mandrake – Protection money.Rex Morgan – Great artwork. You can see the surprise in her face in panel 3.

Mary Worth – Whoa! John can forget this “we” stuff. Mary has a column to write(does she?) and a boyfriend and a whole apartment complex to take care of.Phantom – It’s either the same lion or another lion friend because Phantom is a friend of all nature.Rex – June’s expression doesn’t seem to be appropriate to the conversation. I think the artist just likes to do close-ups.Judge Parker – I see a similarity between this plot and Rex. What at first appears to be irresponsibility is really philanthropy. The only question is, Is this doctor and her husband for real or are they charlatans?Mark Trail – If there’s a clue in the pictures, they haven’t spotted it yet.

@ Florchi & Teh & othersI enjoyed the movie, Julia and Julie. In 2012, Julia Child would have been 100. In her honor, PBS did a video that I enjoyed: Julia Child Remixed/ Keep on Cooking/PBS Digital Studios/ PBS Video. This isn’t a link but, if you’re interested, you could find it at PBS online.

Mandrake – Not only is Miss Hall recanting her earlier charge, she’s now Jockomo’s inside enforcer. He must have hypnotic powers similar to Mandrake.

@Teh & marvee—JULIA CHILD: The “My Life In France” book had a co-author— Julia’s great-nephew Alex Prud’homme—as it was published posthumously. Apparently Julia and her husband, Paul Child, were great smokers – an amount for cigarettes is included in their household budget, and many of the photos in the book show Julia and Paul smoking. However, they both died at approx. age 92 (10 years apart as Paul was 10 years older). Maybe all that great food counteracted the effects of the smoking!BRENDA STARR: I don’t find the new B. Starr book in my local library system.

Mark Trail: Does Mark carry equipment with him to print out pictures?

Mary Worth: How far does Mary live from New York? If it’s not to far, she could commute home on weekends.
