Soldier: At least I don't have to put up with her level of sexual harassment. Muslim Woman: at least I don't have to put up with her level of sexual harassment.
So, Conserve, there’s no sexual harassment in the military? Or it’s real, but it’s unpatriotic to talk about it in a political context? Which lie is it you’re trying to make here? Good cartoon, by the way, Bors.
What difference does rape in the military make? Probably quite a lot, to the individual soldiers who are raped. But they don’t count to you because they’re women?
AH, ScottPM, if only it were so. Yes, the Pentagon is trying to stop the rape epidemic but it took them too long to wise up to its seriousness. This is a major human rights and, I suppose, employees’ rights issue (since soldiers are federal employees) for women in the armed services. It does pale in comparison to the misery of many Afghan women, but this whole rape issue is a major embarrassment for the U.S. military and attempts by apologists to minimize its significance do no one any good.
Hmm, we keep seeing he most extremist Muslim regimes as “SOP”, while extremists in Arizona, Texas, or well banning women from having access to birth control (let alone abortion or “morning after pills”), like in the military, are just “good Christians”?
Sorry, but “sexual harassment” is basic in “bible religions” . It is must more covert in many of its forms.
