That dress and matching parasol are actually quite pretty and look very good on her, and they’d be just right for summer.

I’m gonna just go right ahead and disagree with that. She looks ridiculous.

I agree with O-Kay. That dress is not anything that I would buy, nor would I look at someone else wearing it and ask them where they bought it. Some of the other ones aren’t bad though.

I’d love to be the kind of person who loved crowds and could run a Bed and Breakfast, but I’m not and never will be. I’m an introvert and feel happiest when I am alone.

Dresses 2 and 3 in panel #1, and dresses 1 and 4 in panel #3 are the only things I’d wear. Everything else I wouldn’t be caught dead in ….. especially that ugly monstrosity Cathy chooses in the end that makes her look like some sort of a weird-ass Christmas tree. AACK!!!!!

Hello and Happy Sunday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope everyone had a really great weekend! :-)

This week’s progress report:

1.) Work in my office took a little bit longer than predicted to finish due to other projects taking me away from it but I’m almost there! ;-)

2.) We sold our gas grill to my cousin but some Craig’s List items haven’t had any takers so far. I guess no one wants an office-sized copy machine or electric typewriter these days. :-/

3.) Painting began on the outside of the house but due to a broken-down van one day and rain another, our guy could only work 3 out of 5 days. Hopefully he’ll be able to get more done this coming week though.

4.) The tile work in the basement finally got done. It took my hubby and a good friend of his experienced at doing that kind of thing all day last Monday to do it but when they got done, it looked as good — if not better! — than if we had hired a professional so, yay for that!

5.) Storage room clean-out didn’t get started like my husband wanted but that will finally begin tomorrow for sure. I don’t know that we’ll get it completely done this week but we’re hopeful that we can anyhow.

Stick to the sweatpants, Cathy….I found a place that sells very nice sweats and I wear them everywhere….some of them to the office. They have a sewn in pleat down the front, and little jackets with lapels that look like a suit jacket. Perfect and very comfortable. Love the Christmas tree analogy, Mom!!
