It never occured to me before that Cathy is a hoarder. One thing I DON’T have in common with her. Happy day all and thinking of you lightenup with best wishes.

Ouch. I have a small problem with keeping things, however I am not overrun with stuff (and I’m working on getting rid of things), so I wouldn’t say I’m a “hoarder”. I keep things with sentimental value, especially if it’s old (i.e. “vintage”), and I do keep some things that I may need “just in case”. I know I got a lot of my habits from my mother, who grew up in the Depression and WW2. Sigh…Hello Cathy clan!! I’m a bit late today because I went to the doctor for a check-up. I went to a new one, who seems really nice and understanding (yay!), and she said that I’m in great health from what she can see. We’ll see when the test results come back to know for sure. AND she said that she was fine with me not wanting to be on MS medicine considering I’ve had one episode in 11 years and I’m in good health. Now, to convince the MS doctor in June… But it’s been a good morning!Thank you to linda.coop and ncalifgirl for your kindness and best wishes! I love Cathy’s corner!! :-)

I have 2 pet rats. They are smart and adorable.

I always KNEW Cathy was a hoarder — I just didn’t know how BAD it really was until today!!! I can understand keeping note cards because even if you don’t write notes to people, you can always use them to make grocery lists with, etc. But buying expensive boxes just to put broken earrings she doesn’t wear and cologne samples she doesn’t even like in them? That’s absolutely INSANE!!!!! What happened regarding all that stuff a few days ago she was either trashing, recycling or donating? Obviously she didn’t go far enough where that was concerned or . . . she changed her mind and put it all back in her closets and drawers instead — which is why she then had to go to the store and buy $543.00 worth of pretty boxes to put all the “chaos” in. “Nice, harmless, cute junk” my rear-end!!!!! What a real whack-a-doo she is . . . and some days it’s worse than others!!!!!

lightenup: I’m so sorry you’ve been having such rotten days lately. HOORAY though that today has brought you better news!!!!! Hopefully that will help make everything else going on in your life a lot easier to deal with. I’m glad you felt like you could share things with us. We’re all friends who care about each other here so if you ever feel like you need a caring ear, we’re all here for you. Oh!!! And that goes for everyone else here too!!!!! ;-)
